    Beyond Wonder Woman

The quest for leading female characters who are not caricatures... I loved Wonder Woman. Unabashedly adored every second of the first good leading female superhero movie. One of my favorite pieces of the movie was the character of Diana. Yeah, she's Wonder Woman, she's a kick-ass superheroine, she saves the day - but she's also more than that. But once I got past the shock of the headlines, what I saw online, mostly, was people pouring out hope and love into the world. There's an element that likes to criticize the idea of thoughts & prayers - and I understand that the criticism largely stems from the notion that energy would be better spent on action to improve the wo

(I love that there are TWO cups in this picture. Either someone is really hopped on their tea or maybe, just maybe...there's a writing TEAM at work.) We've done it, we've broken up with Blogger. Because a shiny new book and shiny new authorial status deserve a shiny new website, right? Welcome to the new home for all things Liv Bartlet. But if you feel like checking out some of the blog back catalog, here's the old site: https://livbartlet.blogspot.com/ Stay tuned here for n
